Adding a Charge Category in a Profile

Additional Charge Categories can be added to existing profile Labor and Miscellaneous Rate tables allowing you to add custom rates for non-standard charge categories (e.g., in the Labor Rate table you can add charge categories for fiberglass, aluminum, plastic, vinyl, etc.).

To add a Charge Category to a Labor rate table

1. Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
2. Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
3. Click on the Labor link under Rates. Optionally, you can also click the Miscellaneous link to add a miscellaneous charge category.
4. Select the rate table from the Rate Table droplist.
5. Select Add Charge Category from the toolbar. The Add Charge Category screen opens.
6. Enter a name in the Charge Category field, and then apply tax types as needed. If you are adding a labor charge category, enter the rate amount in the Rate $ field.
7. Select OK.
8. Select Save or Save and Close.
